Students SEO Training in Cebu

Great and wonderful moment for Cebu Students. There are about 70 students from The Philippine State College of Aeronautics (PhilSCA) who have participated this training including those who have organized this SEO training in Pag-ibig building near Ayala mall. It was an honor and privilege to share about this new SEO skill to these students. I know this type of training is not required to this students and even not related to their course but it would help them in some other ways. Before I started the training the instructor told me to share something which would benefit them probably while finishing their course or while learning computer subject on their labs and how to make good profit online. In addition to that, the instructor also told me that this type of training would help his students learn addition knowledge on how to use their time effectively while they use the internet not just hanging around to a particular site like Facebook in which some of them spend lots of time. The instructor noticed also that his students could not maximize their potentials as learners or students. I immediately responded to this training and it was successfully been planned and executed.

I have started the training with a room that can cater 80-90 people. Most of the students were early while some were late. I’ve started giving them simple ways on how to familiarize them regarding the search engine optimization(SEO) by teaching them how to create their own personal blog. These are the following things I’ve taught them:

How to create their own blog using Blogspot

1. How to create their blog using their Google account.
2. How to create their own blog name and URL
3. What type of template they would be using.
4. How to create a new post in their blog and how to edit it.
5. How to manage the comments on their post
6. Setting their own blog.
7. Design and layout of their own blog and using HTML codes.
8. How to make money from their blog through Adsense.
9. How to check their blog status.

After teaching them how to create their own blog, I started to teach them the basic of the Search Engine. I’ve taught them the definition of SEO and how they could write an effective post in their blog. I’ve taught them also how they could effectively use keywords in their titles and content of their articles and many more things that pertains to on-site optimization and off-site optimization.
